An outstanding South Korean pianist, she has lived most of her life in Chile and abroad. Her career as a concert pianist has taken her to various countries around the world, including her participation as guest soloist in venues such as the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Steinway Hall in New York, among others, and she continuously performs in festivals and national and international concert seasons.
She covers a prolific repertoire of traditional music; she is regularly invited as solo pianist by various orchestras, and is also renowned in both solo piano recitals and chamber music.
She shares her dedication as a concert pianist with teaching. She is a full professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and gives master classes in Chile and abroad. She has trained a large number of young musicians who stand out nationally and internationally. Her efforts to share and teach the discipline, tradition and craft of the professional musician have been recognised by several generations of students, and she is in demand as a piano and chamber music teacher.
