Clarinet


Clarinettist from San Carlos, Ñuble region. She began her musical career in 2010 in the Youth Orchestra of the Sacred Heart School, then in 2016 she had her first studies with a professional in the area where she met Kathya Galleguillos who worked as his private teacher. After this she started her formal studies at the Conservatory of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and later on she enters the Universidad Mayor in the city of Santiago de Chile.
At a ypung age she has already won competitions such as the Jóvenes Talentos competition organized by Solistico de Santiago on two occasions, Kings Peak International Music Competition, MAP International Competition, Jeunes Talents en Musique Classique Eurochestries 2021, awarded the Joven Intérprete - Chile, Iberorquestas Juveniles 2023, and winner of the national scholarship of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago.
She has performed as principal clarinet in orchestras all over Chile such as the Orquesta Regional del Bio Bio, Orquesta Regional de Ñuble, Orquesta Estudiantil Metropolitana and Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Mayor. On the other hand, she has been invited to perform together with the Praise Symphony Orchestra during its tour around the country and has been able to give concerts with different ensembles in venues such as Disneyland, California Performing Arts, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Teatro Municipal de las Condes, Teatro Regional del Maule, Teatro Municipal de Chillán and as a soloist in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile and the United States.
She has received masterclasses from great musicians such as Luis Rossi, Arno Piters, Francisco Cantó, Antonio Salguero, Daniel Kovacich, Sergio Pires, among many others. In addition, she has done studio internships with the international soloist Pablo Barragán in countries such as Spain, Germany and France, who is her current teacher. Krishna is a graduate of the Universidad Mayor where she was guided by the teachers Luis Rossi and Kathya Galleguillos. She is currently preparing different presentations as a soloist, in chamber ensembles and in orchestras around Chile, she is also working as a clarinet teacher in the Interfacultades Orchestra of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile,and preparing an internship in Europe at the end of this year.
