Anaís Burgos Sepúlveda Violín
Anaís Burgos Sepúlveda began her violin studies at the age of 6 in Florida, Biobío Region, under the tutelage of Professor Ricardo Olivos, which she continued at the Laurencia Contreras Lema Conservatory of the Universidad del Bio Bio with the same teacher.
She obtained the Second Prize in the Fourth National Violin Competition (2007) organized by the Foundation of Youth and Children Orchestras (FOJI). In addition, in 2009, she was selected by FOJI to join the Children's Chamber Orchestra of Chile and to participate in the International Book Fair in Cuba.
As a soloist, she has participated in the competition Niños Solistas organised by the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Chile, as well as in the competition Jóvenes Talentos organised by the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Concepción, where she won first place in the 2016 edition.
In 2019, she was selected to be part of the I Festival Interuniversitario de Música at the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. After her outstanding performance in the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, she was selected by the Dudamel Foundation to be part of Encuentros España, where she was able to work with the renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel and distinguished maestros such as Nathan Cole, Rainer Honeck and Alejandro Carreño.
Throughout his musical career, he has been a member of several renowned ensembles. Among them are the Orquesta Sinfónica Regional del Biobío, the Orquesta de Cámara del Teatro Municipal de Santiago and the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Juvenil. In these ensembles, she has held the positions of violin tutti, leader and concertmaster, having had the opportunity to work with maestros such as Maximiano Valdés, Paolo Bortolameolli, Helmuth Reichel, Gustavo Dudamel, Simon Rattle, among others.
Anaís has been invited to play with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Concepción, the Camerata Universidad de los Andes and the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Chile. Throughout her career, she has participated in master classes with outstanding teachers such as Álvaro Parra, Paula Poveda, Dorian Lamotte, Nathan Cole, Herwig Zack and Miguel Colom. She also had the opportunity to do an internship with Carlos Johnson in Lübeck, Germany.
She currently holds a degree in Music Performance from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is studying for a Master's Degree in Orchestral Studies at the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco, Musikene. She has recently been accepted as a permanent member of the Orquesta Filarmónica De Santiago.
